225k and the Beastmaster Hunter is unlocked as is the level 5 sandbox adventure upgrade.



We're right at the final 24 hours and the steam is only picking up! There's a chance we might hit the final stretch goal of 250k and I can hardly believe it. Will we make it? I'm not sure but I am grateful to all of you for making this possible.

Immediately after the campaign comes to a close, I'll be sending out the Beta PDFs to all backers (the heroes book and the core rules—the GM book and adventure is still in progress) for wider beta testing and feedback. Included in them is a coversheet detailing the kind of feedback I'm looking for the most.



The best place to ask questions & provide feedback is on our discord channel.

We'll have a few weeks of beta testing before the PDFs are finalized. Then the files will all be sent to the printer and then I've been told to expect roughly a 12 week tunaround time (including printing and shipping to me). I'm optimistically expecting fulfillment of physical rewards to begin this December if all goes smoothly, but more conservatively targeting Q1.

Not much time left now.

Wow, we smashed through the 200k stretch goal, the book upgrades will be a bit more expensive to produce, but thanks to the increased scale – I can afford to do it now at no additional cost to you all.

Only 2 stretch goals left, I'm really excited about the possibility of a Beastmaster Hunter, we've got a decent chance at making it since pledges tend to pick up toward the end of a campaign, and I've got some COOL ideas but I have to temper my excitement just a bit in case we don't.

On that note, I wanted to add just one more little reward to the last stretch goal on the off chance we make it to 250. Something I really wanted to do but didn't think I'd be able to. A Mini Bestiary for the GM book. This is NOT a full bestiary (that'd be it's own full project), but a few pages of some cool level appropriate monster groups. Enough to run with as a GM to create cool impromptu encounters.

Let's see if we hit it!

In case you missed it in the last update, I have committed to using a EU/UK based fulfillment partner to get the shipping prices down to much more reasonable levels.

I plan on releasing the beta PDFs for playtesting & feedback very soon after the campaign ends (within 24 hrs, and hopefully sooner than that). The feedback received on the free preview documents has already been fantastic and I've implements many of the suggestions already. If you'd like to join in on the feedback and playtesting to help make Nimble the best it can be, most of that discussion will be happening on the Nimble Discord server.

Note: I'm not currently looking for feedback on typos (I've got some very talented editors helping me with that already) that'll get sorted out before final print. The best kind of feedback is if something is unclear as written, if something is mechanically too complicated or underwhelming, or balance (something super broken or underpowered–a little broken is okay 💪).

I'm planning on doing a livestream during the last day of the campaign in the closing hours, Backerkit has an "overtime mode" for campaigns that extends the time by 10 minutes each time someone new pledges, so it might be fun to see how things shake out before its all said & done. I will be traveling and in a new place that day, but I'll have my computer and an internet connection so barring any unforeseen circumstances, we'll be live as the campaign ends, answering questions and doing a read through of the rules, maybe an adventure preview too.

We've unlocked the Martial Shadowmancer Subclass: The Shadowreaver! And we're quickly closing in on the final stretch goals, upgraded books, more legendary monsters & monster cards, upgraded adventure, a BEASTMASTER subclass for the Hunter, and maybe even an online character builder (I'd love to do this one!). I'm confident we'll hit some of them, but not sure if we can hit all of them in the remaining SIX DAYS! Share it with your friends 💪.

We're closing in on the final days of the campaign!

We've knocked out yet another stretch goal! Not only do we have the Oathbreaker & Spellblade subclasses, but BIG legendary monster cards, an upgraded adventure, we're working on VTT support, we've got an upgraded GM screen now too!

Next up: at 180k a martial Shadowmancer subclass the SHADOWREAVER. And would you just look at that art. 🔥 This is another story based subclass that asks the question "what happens when a Shadowmancer is cast aside by their patron?" I'm super excited about this one!



On the horizon, if we can crack 200k I'll be able to upgrade the book for everyone. Both the softcover and hardcover ones. For the softcover backers, instead of a stablebound zine-style book I'd like to upgrade to a sewn perfect-bound spine (BIG upgrade over staples). And for the hardcovers, increasing the quality overall, exploring better/fancier materials, gold/silver foil stamping, Bookmark Ribbon(s).

After that, I'm exploring options of making an easy online character builder, possibly a Beastmaster Hunter subclass, upgrading the adventure to level 5 (or even level 6), more legendary monsters & monster cards. Lots of cool options if we can get there :D

No promises or hard numbers just yet! But I am looking at some fulfillment partners in the EU that can significantly bring down the prices for people in the EU and UK. Current estimates are around $10-$15 which is MUCH more reasonable than shipping from the US. Again, shipping is very much in flux, so no promises but I am looking into it. I hate shipping prices and I want to get it as low as possible for everyone!
